LONDON – Emergency nappy dashes will not be a problem for William and Kate when their new baby arrives as their local ASDA has dedicated a parking spot for them. Of course the chances of them personally running out to ASDA for nappies is slim to none when they can get someone to do it for them so basically they have wasted a parking spot someone could have used.
The parent-and-child space in Llangefni, Anglesey, has been painted with the words ‘HRH reserved’, while the parent and child in the pictogram are now sporting crowns. Even better! A mother and child spot has been removed to make way for the Royal family! The space comes complete with a royal guard and is positioned right next to the entrance of the store to allow easy access.
ASDA said they wanted to ‘do something different’ for the arrival of the new Royal baby.
‘It’s created a lot of excitement among our customers who, like us, are looking forward to the birth of the royal baby,’ they said.
Store manager Peter Ellis added: ‘The Duchess of Cambridge has graced the store with her regal presence several times before and we hope that the addition of her own parking space will entice her and her little Prince or Princess of Cambridge back to Asda.
Customers have been sharing their thoughts on Twitter.
@SionedsSavloy tweeted: ‘Find it hilarious that Asda in Llangefni have painted an HRH parent and baby parking spot.’
