Workers make a spelling blunder outside school

DUNOON, SCOTLAND – Uh-oh, workers may need to return to the classroom themselves after this little mishap. The have managed to make an incredibly amusing yet at the same time down right shocking mistake outside of a local school in Scotland but spelling it, “Sckool” on the road outside the premises.

The no parking road sign outside the school actually reads, “Sckool.” It was in fact meant to say, “School, keep clear” but of course it now reads of nothing that makes any sense to anyone.

The council hope that they will be able to fix the embarrassing mistake before the 154 pupils who attend the school return for the start of the new school year.

While ‘school’ often one the first words you learn to spell as a child, the Scottish council workers clearly aren’t the ones who had trouble spelling it out. However they can take comfort in the fact that this is just one in a long line of blunders for UK councils this year so far.

In March council workers spelt the same word as, “Schoul” outside of a school in Oxford while workers in Bristol also managed to make a mess of the same word when they spelt it, “shool.”

Awfully complicated that word school is, maybe some of them should return for some basic lessons before being let back out on the job again, or even better just equip them with dictionaries to check spelling.

What do you guys thing? Can you believe that such a simple mistake is now becoming such a common one? Let us know in the comments section below.
